誤りではありませんが、雑談で one を使うと執事か格言集のような響きになります。会話の一般論は you が標準。逆に、論文・改まった文章では you が砕けすぎることがあり、one や受動態が選ばれます。場面で着替える語です。
Not wrong — but generic one in casual chat sounds like a butler quoting proverbs. Conversation generalizes with you. Flip the register and the advice flips too: in formal prose, you can feel too chatty, and one or a passive steps in. This word changes clothes with the setting.
