enough は住所が2つある珍しい単語です。形容詞・副詞には後ろから(big enough =十分大きい)、名詞には前から(enough money =十分なお金)。「形・副の後、名詞の前」——この一行だけ覚えれば、あとは enough to do(〜するのに十分)へ伸ばすだけです。
Enough keeps two addresses — a rarity. It follows adjectives and adverbs (big enough) but precedes nouns (enough money). Memorize the one line — after adjectives, before nouns — then extend into enough to do.

The box is big enough.(箱は十分大きい)/ We have enough boxes.(箱は十分ある)。同じ enough が、掛かる相手によって前後を替えます。形容詞の前に置く間違い(× enough big)は、ほかの程度副詞(very big / so big)からの類推で起きる、仕組みの見えている事故です。enough だけが例外的に後ろから掛かる、と一点だけ上書きしてください。
The box is big enough. We have enough boxes. Same word, opposite sides — decided by what it modifies. The classic error ("enough big") comes from analogy with every other degree adverb (very big, so big), so the fix is a single override: enough alone attacks adjectives from behind.

名詞への enough は前置。可算にも不可算にも。 On nouns, enough leads — countable or not.

very big・so big・too big——他の程度副詞は全部前から掛かるので、enough も前に置きたくなります。でも enough だけは後ろから。「enough は形容詞のしっぽ」と一点だけ覚え直せば、この事故は消えます。
Very big, so big, too big — every other degree word leads, so the pull to front-load enough is strong. But enough alone trails. One targeted override — "enough is the adjective's tail" — and this accident disappears.
- good enough 十分いい・及第点 「完璧ではないが足りる」。品質の合格ラインを言う定番。 Not perfect, but past the bar — the standard quality verdict.
- sure enough 案の定 予想どおりの展開を迎える慣用。物語の相づち。 The prediction lands — storytelling's told-you-so.
- oddly enough / funnily enough 不思議なことに/おかしなことに 文頭の「〜 enough」で意外性を予告する副詞慣用。 The sentence-opening -ly enough that promises a twist.
- can't ... enough いくら〜しても足りない 感謝・推薦の最大級。I can't thank you enough.(感謝してもしきれない) Gratitude's superlative: I can't thank you enough.
