is being built と has been done() Is Being Built, Has Been Done: Passive Meets Tense

The Passive

わせられます。なら+: The bridge is being built.(だ)。もうんだぶなら+: The meeting has been canceled.(になった)。は「、be +」——てだけえればがります。

The passive combines freely with tense. Mid-construction takes progressive + passive: The bridge is being built. A done deal that still matters takes perfect + passive: The meeting has been canceled. Assembly order: tense gear first, then be + past participle. Learn the build once and every tense opens up.

+ be +

Tense Gear, Then Be + Past Participle

は be +。そこにねます。なら being をんで is being built(まさにてられている)。なら have/has のに been をいて has been built(わっていてく)。れない(being built / been built)も、「の -ing が be にいた」「の -en が be にいた」とすれば、ただのです。

The passive's core is be + past participle; tense gear stacks on top. Progressive slides in being: is being built (under construction right now). Perfect places been after have/has: has been built (finished, and still relevant). The odd-looking strings (being built, been built) are just be wearing the -ing or -en of its tense — layered parts, nothing more.

is building だと「が(かを)てている」というになってしまいます。てられるなので、being をんでに。「はする? される?」のが、このてスイッチです。

Is building casts the library as the builder — an active progressive. The library is on the receiving end, so slide in being for the passive progressive. The assembly switch is the same old question: is the subject doing, or done-to?
