Should have done means "that was the right move, and it didn't happen." It's the dedicated form for regret and reproach. Shouldn't have done flips it: "wrong move, and it happened." The built-in twist: saying it automatically reveals what really occurred.

must have done は「〜したに違いない」という過去への推量です(確信の must の項を参照)。「すべきだった」の後悔は should have done。助動詞+ have done は、助動詞ごとに意味がまるで変わるので要注意です。
Must have done deduces — "no doubt I studied hard," which isn't what you meant. Regret belongs to should have done. Modal + have done changes meaning entirely depending on the modal, so match them carefully.
You shouldn't have!(贈り物に)もう、いいのに! ありがとう!非難の形をした感謝。「実際はしてくれた」が文法に織り込み済み。Thanks in reproach's clothing — the "but you did" is woven into the grammar.
I should have known.気づくべきだった/やっぱりそうか。「兆候はあったのに見逃した」という自分への軽い舌打ち。A soft click of the tongue at yourself — the signs were there.
